About the role
Take on a role where your expertise counts. As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll lead accurate financial reporting that safeguards the integrity of our superannuation fund. Working with a collaborative team and key partners, you'll influence processes, manage audits, and see the real impact of your work.
You'll take ownership of financial reporting across the fund and trustee company, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all statutory and regulatory obligations. From month-end close to year-end audits, you'll be the go‑to expert for technical accounting and process improvement.
In this role, you will:
* Prepare and review statutory financial statements and disclosures.
* Oversee month-end processes, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity.
* Liaise with auditors and custodians to manage audit requests and reporting deadlines.
* Review APRA reporting forms and ensure timely lodgements.
* Drive process improvements and maintain robust financial controls.
About you
You're a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely results. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in managing stakeholder relationships.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Experience in financial services (superannuation or banking essential).
* Strong technical accounting skills and ability to hit the ground running.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools (advantageous).
