Manage a regional project portfolio A leading global group of premium international schools, operating across six continents and educating more than 90,000 students, is seeking a Procurement Projects PMO Manager – APAC The organisation is experiencing significant growth through acquisitions, new developments and transformation initiatives.
This role will lead procurement transformation and strategic project delivery across the Asia Pacific region, driving operational excellence, commercial performance and best-practice project governance.
Reporting to the APAC Operations Director, you will partner with regional leaders and global procurement/project teams to deliver high-impact initiatives across multiple countries.
About the Role Key Responsibilities Procurement Transformation Partner with regional procurement leadership to improve sourcing, spend management and supplier collaboration.
Lead digital procurement initiatives including automation, analytics and AI-enabled tools.
Leverage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor supplier performance.
Support the development of procurement strategies tailored to regional market dynamics.
Embed data-driven decision-making and improve total cost of ownership outcomes.
Project Strategy Delivery Lead cross-functional strategic projects focused on procurement optimisation, process improvement and operational transformation.
Apply consistent PMO methodologies to ensure quality, governance and benefit realisation.
Work closely with stakeholders at regional and school level to prioritise initiatives and manage resources.
Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions to support alignment and execution.
Governance Capability Manage the regional project portfolio and ensure alignment with strategic priorities and budgets.
Coach and mentor project managers across the region.
Develop dashboards, KPIs and reporting structures to support visibility and decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement Provide strategic insights and project leadership to senior executives.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and secure buy-in.
Represent the APAC PMO in global forums and contribute to enterprise-wide project management standards.
Skills Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or similar (Master's advantageous).
5–7+ years of project management experience, ideally within procurement or operations.
Exposure to M A integration or digital procurement platforms highly regarded.
Strong skills in MS Office, project management tools (MS Project, JIRA) and data visualisation platforms (Power BI).
