Rambutan Resort Townsville, an award-winning boutique hotel located in the heart of Townsville City, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Hotel/Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 45-room resort. Situated near the iconic Strand, the resort offers a perfect mix of modern accommodation and coastal charm. Townsville's growing economy, expanding tourism sector, and stunning natural surroundings make it an ideal location for those looking for a sea change and a dynamic place to grow their career.

As the Hotel/Venue Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the smooth operation of the hotel. Sponsorship and Relocation is available for the right candidate. This role may also suit a management couple, with the opportunity to work together in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the daily activities of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
* Supervise Front Desk and housekeeping to ensure a seamless guest experience and smooth operations.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, focusing on room occupancy and overall operational efficiency.
* Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring cost efficiency while driving profitability.
* Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational success.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
* Build and maintain relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

About You:

* Demonstrated experience in a Hotel/Venue Manager or similar role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Solid knowledge of financial management, forecasting, and budgeting in the hospitality industry.
* A track record of increasing revenue through effective strategies and initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
* A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
