The Role
You are a fit and enthusiastic person with previous exposure to general labour tasks including general unpacking and assembly of metal flat packed storage systems. This may include the use of basic hand and battery tools. This role requires work in our Welshpool warehouse and on hospital sites as part of a small team to ensure our products are unpacked and setup and quality inspected prior to handover to the customer. The management and efficient removal of waste packaging is also part of the role. Ideally the suitable candidate will have recent experience with the assembly of flat packed products and possess a white card for working on construction sites. The role is based from our Perth office, but will involve working at sites across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Ability to logically solve problems, or escalate as needed.
* Ensure installed product is to required standards and acceptable by the customer.
* Complete necessary paperwork.
* Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on equipment.
* Assist in the warehouse when required.
The ideal candidate will possess
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes
* Ability to follow clear directions as given
* Experience using power tools and general hand tools
* Full training will be provided as needed
* Forklift license is highly regarded (but not essential)
* Current white card for working on construction sites or ability to obtain one before commencement (essential)
