We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Finance Manager to lead and oversee our accounting and finance operations.

Financial Operations
* Supervise and continually improve all accounting functions, including accounting team, accounts payable (AP) and payroll.
* Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial close processes.
* Drive efficiency in accounts payable operations by collaborating closely with the AP team lead and clerks.
Budgeting and Forecasting
* Lead the development and monitoring of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.
Compliance and Reporting
* Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the executive management team, board of directors, and key stakeholders.
* Maintain compliance with tax and audit standards, ensuring our company meets all reporting obligations.
Process Improvement
* Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance work flow, accuracy, and efficiency within all finance and accounting functions.
* Utilise technology tools to automate manual processes and streamline operations where appropriate.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification.
* Proven experience in a finance leadership role, managing both qualified and non-qualified team members.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and Australian regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
