About The Role
The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and contribute to the well-being of our residents. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facility, creating a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.
The position will be across both our Muswellbrook and Cooinda homes.
Your main duties will include:
Attend to general maintenance tasks as directed including gardening as required.Checking maintenance logs and prioritising tasks, coordinating contractors to attend as required.Under the guidance of the Home Manager, plan and schedule maintenance across the homeEnsure the timely action of hazards, incidents and other events that involve the maintenance function
About You
Experience in Maintenance/ Handyman roleCommitment to continuous quality improvementWorking Knowledge of WH&S and Infection ControlDemonstrated commitment to customer focused servicesDrivers licence ClassPrevious experience and understanding of aged care including retirement village/ independent living settingTrade qualifications and/or experience is desired
