Business Architecture Document Controller
Austal's global shipbuilder and maritime technology partner, designing, constructing, and supporting defence and commercial vessels for leading operators.
The company operates in Australia, the USA, Philippines, and Vietnam. Austal is delivering multiple naval shipbuilding and sustainment programs for the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Border Force, and the Department of Defence, employing approximately 1,000 people in facilities located in Western Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
A landmark Strategic Shipbuilding Agreement (SSA) will support the Continuous Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Enterprise and deliver new defence force shipbuilding projects. This agreement will drive growth across our industry and workforce as we deliver both existing and new programs under a long-term partnership.
To achieve this, we are building a skilled team to engage with local industry and supply chains, and work on complex, large-scale projects that reflect Austal's proven capabilities and trusted performance.
As a Business Architecture Document Controller, you'll oversee the management and control of documentation within our Business Architecture document management system.
* Manage document version and change controls
* Manage the business document review and approval process
* Ensure compliance and standardisation of documents
* Collaboration and stakeholder engagement
* System and process improvement
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Recognised qualification in document control or a minimum of 5 years experience in document control, records management or related field
* Strong knowledge of document management systems and software
* Proficiency in management of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular SharePoint
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
