About the Role
I am a Melbourne-based finance broker running an elite, high-efficiency "Lead Surgeon" pod. My focus is on complex residential, investment, and commercial financing. I am looking for a technically superior Para‐Broker to become the "Chief of the Lab."
This is not a generic admin role. You will own the technical lifecycle of the loan—from the initial deep‐dive audit of client documents to the final settlement. You are someone who takes pride in a "Zero MIR" submission and loves the "dark art" of lender policy.
What You'll Be Doing
* The Audit: Conducting forensic‐level reviews of bank statements, tax portals, and trust deeds to find hurdles before the bank does.
* The Strategy: Researching lender niches and serviceability calculators to find the best home for complex deals.
* The Submission: Managing CRM and ApplyOnline with 100% data integrity.
* The Relationship: Assertively managing BDMs and assessors to push files through to formal approval.
Who You Are
* Meticulous: You naturally spot a transposed digit or a misspelled suburb from a mile away.
* A Problem Solver: You don't ask for solutions; you research them. You enjoy diving into policy wikis to find the "hidden" answer.
* Experienced: 3+ years in an Australian brokerage or as a Bank Credit Assessor.
* Bilingual (Bonus): Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is highly regarded given our diverse client base, but technical accuracy remains the #1 priority.
