As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic you will be playing a key role in maintaining and optimising our fleet of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME). Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and service large-scale mobile mining equipment, focusing on CAT 793 Dump Trucks.
* Diagnose and resolve faults to keep operations running smoothly.
* Perform both workshop and pit duties as required.
* Execute planned & preventative maintenance to optimize fleet performance.
* Attend to urgent breakdowns in the field, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with a dynamic mobile maintenance team to achieve top-tier results.
* Always follow strict safety and operational protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
* A Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology is a must-have.
* Mobile plant experience in a mining environment is essential.
* FIFO experience and a strong understanding of remote site operations are required.
* A commitment to workplace safety is non-negotiable.
* Current working rights in Australia are necessary.
