**Your new role**
As a Parking Management Customer Service Officer, your main goal is to provide professional and superior customer service to the Precinct as well as providing relief assistance to the Property Customer Service team when required. The Customer Service Officer's purpose is to use their initiative and drive to improve the interaction and customer service as they represent the company.
You will be required to provide a high level of customer service which will involve friendly and courteous interactions with customers, site cleanliness, responding and forwarding inquires to the appropriate management/department if outside of your duties or experience and answering calls from telephone or intercom with a professional manner.
You will also be required to follow strict security & work health & safety protocols in accordance with company procedures, maintain a high level of vigilance for suspicious behaviour, and participate with all Emergency & Security Training sessions.
Parking Management and Kerbside Management are a requirement of the role and duties will include traffic management, monitoring and controlling ground transportation, direction of passengers and assistance when required (e.g. mobility impaired persons), operation of parking control equipment, troubleshooting and coordination of repairs and maintenance requests with equipment suppliers and service providers.
This role is based off a 7-Day roster system averaging 4 days on and 2 days off. Roster includes night shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime if operationally required due to delays.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills. You will be communicating with the public and tenants and must be able to build strong relationships across the business.
- Must be a team player. This includes no office politics by showing equal respect to your colleagues and team members at all times.
- Presentation & Image. The Customer Service Officer must be professionally presented and have a clear understanding that they are representing the airport with a professional manner at all times.
- Self-Starter. The role requires a level of autonomy in that the Customer Service Officer provides support to the Team Leader, Customer Service and will not have to require ongoing direction. That is, the Customer Service Officer will understand the position and create opportunities to better the role with fresh ideas and innovative ways of undertaking it.
- Cash Management. Previous experience with cash handling is HIGHLY desirable.
