Your New Role
The Business Development Officer (BDO) manages PCYC Outdoor Recreation client relations, booking systems, marketing, and communications for camps and outdoor activities. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and expanding market presence. About You
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within outdoor recreation or education.
Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Ability to manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Strong interpersonal skills with experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across functions.
Current Driver’s License and ability to travel as required.
Highly Desirable
Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools to track performance and inform strategies.
Tertiary qualifications in business and/or recreation disciplines.
Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) is required. No Card, No Start, and legislation regarding Restricted Persons apply. All employees must complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
