About the role
Joining the Network Services team based in Silverwater, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team to manage diverse IT environments across several geographies. You'll work in a dynamic and responsive IT Operations environment supporting our Franchisor offices and franchise stores across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Your primary responsibilities include managing distributed Cisco (wired and wireless), Juniper (wired & wireless – Mist) and Fortinet environments in our franchise stores, as well as Juniper, Fortinet, and F5 technologies in our Data Centres.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example, showcasing your expertise in operational change management, and creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive network documentation.
* Deliver exceptional customer service through efficient service request fulfillment.
* Drive Business‐As‐Usual initiatives including installation and upgrading of network systems.
* Troubleshoot and escalates incidents and problem management cases across franchise store, corporate and data centre networks.
* Analyse faults raised with external vendors and recommend effective and appropriate solutions.
* Actively participate in project‐related activities.
Qualifications
You will possess a relevant qualification and a Cisco CCNP certificate or equivalent, with experience in a large enterprise environment. You have strong problem‐solving, analytical, and investigative skills. You are customer focused, results oriented, self‐motivated, and capable of performing well under pressure.
* Good hands‐on skill on Routing & Switching, Wi‐Fi, Network Security (Firewall & SIEM), Network Load Balancing, DC Spine & Leaf Technologies.
* Experience/familiarity operating on Cisco and Juniper devices & Juniper Mist Platform.
* Experience/familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls, Forti‐Managers, Forti‐Analyzers.
* Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure Private and Public.
* Good understanding of ITIL processes.
* Technical writing and documentation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven skills in time management and building strong stakeholder relationships.
* Experience managing remote access solutions such as SSL‐VPN.
* Administration experience using SolarWinds NPM, NCM, and IPAM modules.
Preferred Experience
* Juniper JNCIS Certification or equivalent.
* F5 (APM, LTM, GTM & iRules) experience.
* Other Network Management platforms such as AKIPS.
