About the Role
Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking Fixed Plant Boilermakers to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on our FIFO rostered maintenance crews enjoying a variety of 2/2, 8/6 or 2/1 rosters coming up.
This is a FIFO role ex. Perth; interstate candidates are encouraged to apply (Must make own way to/from Perth).
* Demonstrated fault-finding, repair and fabrication experience on Fixed Plant Mining equipment
* Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, screens, pumps, and structural components
* Welding, cutting, fabrication and structural repairs on fixed plant infrastructure
* Preventative maintenance & breakdown repairs
* Shutdown support and plant upgrades
* Heavy fabrication and installation work within mining environments

What do I need to join?
* Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Welder (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
* Drivers Licence
* Construction White Card
* Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (essential)
* Gas Test Atmospheres ticket (essential)
* Fire/Hot Work ticket (essential)Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry
* Strong MIG, TIG and Arc welding skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong commitment towards safety and quality
