Job Description
* Oversee the organisation's financial operations and reporting processes.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to optimise resource allocation.
* Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
* Collaborate with senior management to align financial planning with strategic objectives.
* Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor and assess financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Director should have:
* A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
* Relevant qualifications such as a CPA or CA accreditation.
* Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning.
* Excellent knowledge of compliance requirements and financial legislation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
* Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
