Environmental Health Coordinator
The GRAMS Gascoyne Outreach Service (GOS) seeks to fill the position of Environmental Health Coordinator on a full-time, ongoing basis. The successful candidate will provide support in implementing environmental health initiatives for the region.
This role is involved in reducing the risk and incidents of environmental health issues for Aboriginal communities in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia. Key areas include:
* Drinking water quality and management
* Waste management and solid waste disposal
* Housing supply and maintenance
* Power supply and electrical safety
* Animal management and control
* Food safety and supply chain management
* Pest and mosquito control
* Dust control and air quality management
* Emergency preparedness and response

A current unrestricted driver's license is essential. Experience working with Indigenous communities is desirable but not mandatory.
