Customer Service Representative
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service and want to be part of a dynamic team.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive until they depart. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Managing guest bookings and up-selling opportunities
* Performing check-in and check-out duties
* Ensuring accurate daily reporting and checklists
* Recording and acting on guest preferences and requests
* Providing excellent service to IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests
* Adhering to hotel policies and procedures
You will also be responsible for:
* Working as a porter and valet, assisting guests with their luggage and transport requirements
* Identifying and reporting hazards, and evaluating associated risks
* Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and guest areas
To excel in this role, you will need:
* At least 1 year's experience in a Front Office or Guest Services related position
* Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Hospitality (desired)
* Experience using Opera Property Management System (highly regarded)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Literacy and basic math skills
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
