Heavy Road Transport Mechanic
We are seeking experienced HD Mechanics with a proven track record working on Volvo and/or Mack Titan Prime Movers.
* Demonstrable hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy multi-combination trucks in a road transport environment.
* Strong capabilities in fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and major component rebuilds.
* Recognised Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate.
* C Class licence essential; HR licence highly regarded.
A Heavy Road Transport Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of prime movers and trailers. Work in a brand new state-of-the-art workshop with modern facilities and enjoy relocation benefits including accommodation assistance and moving expenses.
We offer two flexible working rosters: 7 Days On, 7 Nights On, 7 Days Off and 7 Days On, 7 Days Off, 7 Nights On, 7 Days Off. All shifts are local, ensuring you're home after every shift. Extended blocks of time off allow exploration of Western Australia's coastline.
To succeed as a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic, you must possess relevant skills and qualifications:
* Extensive knowledge of diesel mechanics and vehicle systems.
* Hands-on experience with Volvo and Mack Prime Movers.
* Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
* Possession of a C Class licence is mandatory; an HR licence is highly valued.
