The hours will be 3.30 pm to 11.36 pm, Monday to Friday.The primary focus of these roles will be to lead a small team in accordance with daily instructions, ensuring efficiency and promoting a safe, supportive work culture. You will promote open communication and implement ideas for process improvement in line with company policies and values.Reporting to the DC Team Leader, your day-to-day will include:Lead and adhere to Work Health and Safety standardsTrain, coach, and mentor your team to achieve KPIs and best-in-class practices, ensuring correct use of voice pick, the WMS system, and RF scanning equipmentEnsure tasks are picked and confirmed within agreed timeframes, reporting daily exceptions to the Warehouse Management teamEnsure accurate QA reporting and dispatch of ordersCleanse orders within the current warehouse management system; WMS-MLS.Ensure your team restocks pick faces and maintains inventory levels within SAP/MLSOversee the loading and unloading of freight as requiredEnsure the warehouse is kept in a clean, tidy, and safe conditionAbout YOUYou will have a proven background in a similar Leading Hand role within a fast-paced DC environment and the following skills/attributes:Commitment to lead safetyAbility to multitask and prioritize workloadsStrong attention to detailFast and responsive, able to work to strict deadlinesTeam Player – maintain close working relationships with all other employeesResults-oriented and committed to high standardsPrevious experience working in a warehouse or similar environmentForklift License (desired but not essential)Previous experience with Voice Pick or RF equipmentBasic PC administration/input skillsExperience working with warehouse management system-driven pick and dispatch processesKnowledge of SAP is advantageous.If the above resonates with you and you are excited at the prospect of joining a successful and dynamic organization and assisting with the setup of a Greenfield site, then please APPLY NOW
