Job Summary
The YMCA Queensland seeks an experienced and passionate individual to fill the role of Assistant Coordinator. This position will be responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day operations of the service, including management of a team of Educators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality programs for children.
* Manage the daily operations of programs, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
* Support the Coordinator with staff management, including training and professional development.
* Undertake administrative tasks, such as documentation and record-keeping.
* Work collaboratively with families and the school community to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
* Completed Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in childcare programming and administration.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
* Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) is essential.
