About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic medical practice in Taringa, Queensland. As a part-time Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of our practice, ensuring exceptional patient care and supporting our dedicated team of medical and allied health professionals.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the administrative and operational functions of the medical practice, including scheduling, staffing, inventory management and financial reporting
- Implement and monitor policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency and patient experience
- Liaise with healthcare providers, suppliers and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of services
- Oversee the recruitment, training and performance management of administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards
- Analyse practice data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment for the entire practice team
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar healthcare administration role
- Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including billing, scheduling and inventory management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, clinicians and other stakeholders
- Proficient in using medical practice management software and other relevant IT systems
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and improving healthcare outcomes
