At Alfred Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals who have made a suicide attempt or are at risk of doing so. Our HOPE team is committed to building resilience in these individuals through intensive outreach support and individualized therapeutic care.
The role of the HOPE clinician is multifaceted, requiring advanced clinical skills, experience working with suicidal clients, and the ability to engage therapeutically with those at risk. The ideal candidate will be able to provide brief therapeutic interventions to improve resilience and self-management of distress, as well as offer single-session family work to support clients and their loved ones.
In addition to providing clinical supervision to support workers, the HOPE clinician will also work collaboratively with other senior clinicians and the team leader to ensure seamless delivery of services. This role requires a strong commitment to minimizing service system barriers to recovery and creating an environment that facilitates clinical recovery.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant tertiary qualification, such as a social work degree, RPN qualification, occupational therapy degree, or psychologist registration. A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in a community setting is also essential. You will need to be registered with the relevant professional bodies and hold a current Victorian drivers' license.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate clinician to join our HOPE team. If you have a passion for supporting individuals at risk of suicide and are committed to delivering high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.
