Project Surveyor – Adelaide
We are currently seeking a Project Surveyor to join our recently established Survey Division in Adelaide.
With continued growth in South Australia and the recent award of several large-scale infrastructure projects across the region, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a motivated, high-performing team at an exciting stage of expansion.
Reporting & Relationships
Reporting directly to the Survey Manager
Working closely with Surveyors and Underground Service Locators
Liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Relevant qualification – minimum Diploma of Surveying (or currently working towards)
Minimum 12 months' surveying experience (or similar)
Broad understanding of surveying practices, deliverables, and construction environments
Experience using Trimble and/or Leica GNSS and Total Station equipment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current White Card
Desirable
First Aid Certificate
Rail Corridor Accreditation (state authority dependent)
Experience with 12d Field Software
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD deliverables (AutoCAD, LISCAD, BricsCAD)
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will undertake a variety of surveying tasks while working closely with multiple stakeholders across infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Construction set-out surveys
Feature and level surveys
Underground services survey and pickup
Preparation of as-built drawings
Processing and management of site survey data
Operation and maintenance of GNSS and Total Station equipment
Managing and controlling survey documentation
Adapting to client requirements and producing clear, accurate reports
Mentoring and supporting junior survey staff
