We are looking for Functions Supervisor (Casual) and Catering Team Leader (Full Time) to oversee venue operations at Caloundra RSL Services Club.

Who we are looking for
Functions Supervisor Responsibilities
* Oversees daily operations, coordinates staff activities, ensures procedures are followed and supports the team to achieve performance and safety targets.
* Reports to the Functions and Events Manager of the venue, overseeing the floor operations of all functions and events.
* Supervises the function business in a hands‐on capacity on a daily basis, including set‐ups & pack‐downs.
* Works with the Functions and Events Manager to provide leadership and coaching to all function service staff.
* Achieves high levels of customer service and manages customer relations to encourage return business.
* Leads and effectively communicates with a team of staff.
* In the absence of management, follows up all customer enquiries related to new function bookings, tours of the venue, conducts meetings and relays all relevant function information as per organisational procedure.
Catering Team Leader Responsibilities
* Reports to the Catering Supervisor, oversees the floor operations and coordinates between different venues (Viva Restaurant & Ish Cafe).
* Works with the Catering Supervisor to provide leadership and coaching to all venue employees.
* Implements policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
* Analyzes performance metrics and makes data‐driven decisions.
* Leads and effectively communicates with the teams.
* Achieves high levels of customer service and manages customer relations to encourage return business.
* Resolves customer complaints in a professional manner.
* Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
Pre‐requisites
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and guide teams toward achieving organizational goals.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA).
* A strong knowledge of hospitality operations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
* A team‐player attitude with demonstrated leadership skills.
* Ability to work a flexible roster including nights and weekend shifts.
