As the Site Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to welding fabrication projects. You will lead a team of welders, ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, and act as the primary point of contact between the client, the project team, and our office. This role requires hands-on welding skills, leadership experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin Chinese to facilitate smooth communication across diverse teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and lead welding teams on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Perform welding tasks as required, using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) for structural and industrial fabrication.
- Ensure that all team members are trained in and follow safety regulations and best practices.
- Coordinate the daily operations of the site, ensuring that projects are progressing according to schedule and budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure precise work.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates, address any concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are properly maintained and available when needed.
- Act as the liaison between English and Mandarin-speaking workers and clients, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times.
- Maintain quality control procedures to ensure work meets both client specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and equipment management.
**Requirements**:
- Possesses Welding experience (TIG preferred)
- White Card
- Drivers License
- At least 3 Years professional experience as a foreman.
