C-130J Flying Instructor Role
Our organization seeks a highly skilled Flying Instructor C-130J to provide expert instruction and training in the operation of the C-130J aircraft.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering ground-based, simulator, and live aircraft instruction to RAAF students
* Collaborating with the Lead Instructor C-130J Training CAE
* Evaluating trainees and identifying areas for improvement
* Completing administrative tasks related to training
* Developing and updating course materials and training resources
* Contributing to the growth of the program through professionalism and credibility
* Participating in ongoing learning activities
* Ensuring a safe working environment by minimizing health and safety risks
Requirements for success include:
* At least 1000 hours of command experience on multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft or equivalent
* A minimum of two years of instructional experience in an aircrew training setting
* Previous experience as a military flying instructor (Qualified Flying Instructor)
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Qualified Flying Instructor Category by the Central Flying School
* Prior pilot check and training experience on C-130J is desirable
* Experience in designing and developing aircrew training materials is also desirable
Applicants must be eligible for a SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance and preferably hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
