We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Digital Workplace Engineer to join our Sydney team in an exciting time of transformation and modernisation in our Digital Workplace. Your Digital Workplace technology experience and expertise will see you delivering the latest technology solutions and tools to enable the productivity of our People in our new hybrid workplace, in line with delivering Stockland’s strategic vision for Digital Workplace.
As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you will need to build strong relationships with both technology teams and those across Stockland. You will also need to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in everyday language, which will be central to your success. Additionally, this role will require you to work closely with a transient workforce of contractors and supplier staff, ensuring they adhere to Stockland values and deliver positive outcomes for the business.
Your Daily Responsibilities will include :
1. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects of various sizes from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.
2. Technical Problem Solving: Proven expertise in identifying and resolving complex technical issues, acting as an escalation point for other technical resources within Digital Workplace projects.
3. Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in engaging with and reporting to various internal Stockland stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and outcomes.
4. Requirements Gathering: Strong ability to conduct workshops and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and prioritize user requirements, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
5. Documentation Management: Expertise in documenting all aspects of technology projects, including requirements, design, testing, operations, interfaces, and user guides.
6. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite (including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange 2019/Online), Always On VPN, Microsoft Windows 10 / 11, Mobility and Security (Intune, MDM), VDI (such as Amazon Workspace, Windows 365), and Active Directory (DNS, Certificate, LDAP, SSO, DFS, GPO).
7. Scripting and Automation: Strong proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate processes and streamline workflows.
8. Technical Support (2/3rd Level): Expertise in providing technical support and recommendations on new configurations and integration of new solutions into the existing environment, including supporting technologies and protocols (Security, AADSync, log analysis, patching, pushing out policies to endpoint clients, reporting and proactive remediation).
9. Migration and Post-Go Live Support: Proven experience in setting up and performing migrations of users to newly developed solutions, as well as providing post-go live 3rd level escalated support as needed.
10. Business Outcomes: Ability to work with key stakeholders to identify changes and opportunities that will improve business outcomes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and outcomes.
About You:
11. Minimum 3 to 5 + years of experience as a Systems Administrator/Engineer Role.
12. Expert experience and knowledge of Microsoft stack tools such as MS365, Intune, Windows 10/11, Windows Virtual Desktop.
13. Experience with Microsoft Entra and Amazon Web Services
14. Experience in Enterprise Infrastructure services such as Exchange, Windows Server 2016+
15. Provide high level of support and minimise operational issues on an ongoing basis.
16. Experience with app security, threat detection and other modern workplace security toolsets
17. Be experienced up to Level 3 support.
18. Ability to respond quickly, competently, and patiently. Individual must be able to gather information, evaluate options and offer working solutions.
19. 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft teams calling (Online)
20. Experience with Meeting room technology
21. Experience with project environments and different methods of delivery (Waterfall, Agile)
