As an Electronics Assembly Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of high-grade electronics. Your responsibilities will include soldering and de-soldering components, applying conformal coatings, and assembling PCB assemblies into product chassis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components with precision and accuracy.
* Support the application of conformal coats, masking, epoxy, and other protective materials to electronic components.
* Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis using mechanical and electrical assembly techniques.
* Read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
* Monitor your work progress against established benchmarks and achieve timely delivery of all tasks.
Requirements:
* A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
* At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or PCBA roles is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* IPC certification, including IPC-610 and IPC-JSTD, is highly desirable.
* The ability to read, interpret, and work from various technical documents is essential.
* Experience working in electro-mechanical manufacturing, precision manufacturing, or aviation/aerospace industries is beneficial.
* Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience is highly valued.
* Proficiency with computers and MS Office is necessary.
