Overview
The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is in search of a Music Library Manager. Working closely with the Musicians, and Artistic and Orchestral Management teams, the Music Library Manager will oversee the ASO’s music library, ensuring the timely acquisition, licensing and preparation of all music materials required for performances and programs.
The Music Library Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive music library services to musicians, staff, artists, conductors, and external stakeholders, with the following top-line key responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Library staff and processes, ensuring productive planning, preparation and delivery of all performance materials.
- Manage the sourcing, research, hire and preparation of music materials in collaboration with artistic staff, conductors, soloists and presentation partners.
- Oversee the management of the ASO’s Music Library collection, including maintenance, cataloguing and upload to Arts Vision.
- Manage the library budget and maintain accurate ASO record keeping.
- Comply with internal and external reporting requirements, including managing music rights, licences and other reporting obligations.
