At the Australian Academy of Music we believe that music education is one of the most important vocations in our society. Music enriches our lives, it helps us to communicate and express our feelings and emotions, it releases stress and even helps develop new pathways in the brain. It also teaches improvisation over many fields of learning, and creates a sense of community with other musicians.
We are currently seeking some additional music teachers to join our community of teachers. The successful candidates will possess teaching qualifications in their chosen instrument, as well as experience with teaching adults and children and preparation for AMEB & Rockschool exams.
We are currently looking to expand lesson offerings and fill current needs for guitar, piano, flute, saxophone, violin, viola and cello.
The successful candidates will require a working with children blue card.
We are located in Brendale on Brisbane's north side. There is no reliable, close public transport. You will need a car to attend lessons.
