We have an exciting opportunity as we are currently looking for an experienced Inventory Controller with strong inventory management skills to join the Opal Fibre Packaging team.
This role can be based out of either our Scoresby or our Brooklyn site.We manufacture goods that you see, touch, and use every day and our customer base includes some of the biggest names in FMCG, Retail and Fresh Produce.

ResponsibilitiesManaging inventory for our manufacturing sites and depots across Victoria (2 manufacturing sites and 5 depots)Ensure all inventory is managed within agreed targets for raw materials, finished goods and quarantined stockRaise made-to-stock production orders and stock transfer orders to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid overstocking across the Opal Fibre Packaging Victorian NetworkMonitor and manage SLOB inventory to minimize financial impact and optimize warehouse spaceInfluence and engage key stakeholders to support and adopt optimized inventory management principles through data-driven insights & collaborationPlay a key role in the ongoing optimization of working capitalQualificationsYears of experience in inventory management, ideally within multi-site manufacturing environmentsA degree within the relevant fields (such as Supply Chain, Business or Warehousing) would be viewed favourably, but is not a requirementProven ability to drive change through stakeholder collaboration when optimizing inventory practices, resulting in tangible outcomesStrong knowledge & experience in using SAP is requiredIntermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)Excellent analytical skills, and ability to communicate insights to stakeholdersDemonstrated ability of proactively taking initiative and questioning existing normsApplications are open to both internal and external candidates.
