About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
* Plan, document, implement and evaluate a comprehensive recreation program appropriate to consumer needs, under the guidance of clinical staff and the operational supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrate a recovery focussed client centred approach in the assessment of recreation and leisure needs for individual consumers within the inpatient unit.
* Supervise consumers undertaking recreational or leisure activities to ensure their wellbeing and safety and to maintain a safe working environment.
