We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with leadership experience to lead our team at a leading provider of aged care services in Western Australia.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for a nurse with clinical expertise to oversee and coordinate resident care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care, and provide clinical leadership to deliver services at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and reviews of resident care needs.
* Facilitate and coordinate admissions processes for new residents.
* Provide leadership and promote collaboration among staff to deliver person-centred care.
* Support and work cohesively with the clinical care and allied health team.
* Monitor and minimize clinical risk and meet quality KPIs.
* Identify changes in resident care needs to support accurate classification and funding.
* Develop and enhance clinical capability of the care team.
* Review and investigate clinical incidents.
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Relevant postgraduate studies desirable.
* Leadership experience in aged care.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
* Comprehensive knowledge of legislation governing aged care, including best practices and professional codes.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of continuous improvement, assessment processes, and care planning.
* Knowledge of OSH requirements in healthcare settings.
* Satisfactorily pass Key Personnel checks.
