Northcott is looking for Support Workers to work across our Wagga Wagga Accommodation and In‐Home & Community Services on a casual basis.

About The Role

You will empower people with disability to live as independently and confidently as possible through skill‐building, wellbeing support, and community inclusion.

In This Role, You Will

* Provide personal care that promotes dignity and independence (e.g. showering, toileting, continence support).
* Support safe manual handling and mobility using hoists and other aids.
* Follow individual care plans to meet health needs such as epilepsy or wound care.
* Prepare meals and assist with mealtimes in line with mealtime management plans.
* Enable customers to participate in everyday activities — from household tasks to social and community outings.

Skills & Experience

* Flexible availability is highly regarded. Shifts are available 24/7 across mornings, afternoons, overnights (including sleepovers), and weekends. We are looking for Support Workers who can work across a range of shifts.
* Disability Industry experience.
* Experience in mental health and behaviour support plans.
* You have experience supporting individual health needs by following care plans, including epilepsy support and wound care.
* You are confident with manual handling, PEG feeding, medication administration, and safe transport.
* You stay calm, capable, and compassionate when things get challenging.
* You have experience supporting people with varying physical, cognitive or behavioural needs — and always lead with respect.
* You love learning, connecting, and helping others live more independently.
