About the Opportunity
We're seeking a Senior Management Accountant to lead the management reporting and financial performance oversight of all CCSM projects, including the Training School. In this pivotal role, you will deliver high‐quality financial insights, guidance and analysis to support effective project delivery and informed decision‐making.
With a strong focus on business partnering, you'll work closely with cost account managers, capability managers, project and program leaders, and the Executive. You will drive monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes, ensure compliance with ASC policies and accounting standards, and provide valuable support during audits and contract reviews. This role also oversees program cashflow management, reconciliations, contract indexation and forex application, and ad‐hoc financial analysis.

Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with the CCSM Finance Manager to deliver high‐quality financial services to the business.
* Build and manage strong internal stakeholder relationships through a business‐partnering approach, providing guidance, influence and advice to support commercial decision‐making.
* Partner with senior managers and the CCSM Finance Manager to develop financial plans aligned with corporate strategy and project outcomes.
* Oversee financial systems and tools to ensure accurate, timely and transparent reporting for project stakeholders.
* Maintain effective internal controls and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with ASC policies, accounting standards and legislative requirements.
* Prepare inputs and analysis for management, Board and shareholder reporting to support strategic financial decisions.
About you
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting, with full or partial membership of ASCPA, ICA, CIMA or an equivalent professional body.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Experience in financial management with the ability to interpret and communicate financial outcomes.
* Sound working knowledge of ERP systems.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
* Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
* Highly organised with strong time‐management skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
