A prominent industry player is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Australia by developing relationships with customers, engineers, and re-sellers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and Manage Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and engineering partners to drive sales growth.
* Provide Technical Support: Offer high-level technical and commercial support to clients, including developing conveyor system concepts and designs that meet specifications, throughput, and client requirements.
* Prepare Proposals and Tenders: Create detailed proposals and tenders for client presentations, showcasing the company's cutting-edge solutions.
* Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts and assist in project management to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience selling and designing end-to-end carton and pallet handling solutions.
* Proven track record in a sales role within warehouse automation, intralogistics, or materials handling.
* Sound knowledge of conveyors, pallet systems, and sortation equipment.
* Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Mechanical aptitude and design capability.
