Senior Electrical Engineer – Water Infrastructure
A full-time, hybrid position within AECOM's Water Infrastructure team in Brisbane, Queensland.
Responsibilities
* Lead electrical engineering works for pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, ventilation, fire protection, and HVAC systems.
* Deliver electrical design packages for projects across Queensland and beyond.
* Design electrical systems, including instrumentation, power distribution, control and communications.
* Conduct technical studies such as modelling and computational analysis.
* Perform electrical project cost estimating.
* Create computer‐aided drafting drawings.
* Prepare and lead proposals, design schedules, budgets and technical and commercial submissions for external clients.
* Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience on municipal water and/or wastewater projects.
* Experience in a dynamic consulting and design environment, particularly in industrial electrical, instrumentation and control systems engineering.
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and registration as a CPEng / RPEQ.
* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
* Experience with project management and quality management procedures (desirable).
