CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction to lead the delivery of complex federal and infrastructure projects in Darwin. This is a senior, site-based leadership role with no FIFO requirement.
Responsibilities:
* Act as Project Manager reporting directly to the Project Executive
* Lead end-to-end project delivery from start-up, design and engineering through to construction, commissioning, closeout, and warranty
* Maintain strong client relationships while protecting commercial and contractual interests
* Provide oversight of:
* Design activities (Designer of Record)
* Construction operations (Superintendent)
* Safety systems and compliance (Safety Manager)
* Quality assurance and control (QC Manager)
* Project scheduling (Scheduler)
* Project financials including AR/AP (Project Comptroller)
* Negotiate and execute subcontractor and supplier contracts and purchase orders
* Chair regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure all contractual, administrative, safety, and compliance requirements are met
* Identify and secure resources required for successful project delivery
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
* 10+ years' total construction experience, including 5+ years as a Project Manager delivering $20M+ heavy civil infrastructure projects
* Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary project teams
* Strong commercial acumen across contracts, procurement, claims, and financial controls
* Experience working in federal, defence, or similarly governed environments highly regarded
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong proficiency in MS Office, with Primavera P6 experience preferred
* Ability to successfully pass background and security checks
