Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient House Laundry - Dry Cleaner to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry and dry cleaning services meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
* Operate and maintain laundry and dry cleaning equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines
* Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens, garments, and fabrics
* Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty items
* Identify and treat different types of stains using appropriate cleaning methods
* Ensure proper handling and care of guests' personal items
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor
* Adhere to safety protocols and hygiene standards
* Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks
* Respond to special requests from guests or other departments in a timely manner
Qualifications
* Proficiency in operating laundry and dry cleaning equipment
* Thorough knowledge of fabric care and stain removal techniques
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
* Previous experience in laundry or dry cleaning services preferred
* Experience in a hospitality setting is advantageous
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Relevant vocational training in laundry services is a plus
* Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is beneficial
