We're growing and looking for a CMT Supervisor to lead our team in Kalgoorlie (or FIFO from Perth). If you've got strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the drive to lead and motivate others, this could be your next step.

About the Role
As a Supervisor – Construction Materials Testing (CMT), you'll be responsible for overseeing field and laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, and concrete. You'll ensure high standards of accuracy and reliability while guiding, motivating, and developing a team of technicians.
This role is open to local Kalgoorlie residents as well as FIFO candidates from Perth (including consideration of other Australian states and territories).
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with technical expertise, leadership ability, and the drive to lead from the front.
* Solid background in construction materials testing (field and lab)
* Experience in the construction or mining industries
* Leadership or supervisory experience (or proven ability to step up)
* Ability to motivate, train, and support team members
* Comfortable making decisions and managing priorities under pressure
* FIFO candidates should be flexible and open to different roster patterns (e.g. 2:1, 3:1)
* Portable Density Moisture Gauge Certificate
* Comfortable working under pressure and independently
* Motivated, reliable, and open to continued learning
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)
What You'll Do
Leadership & Supervision
* Lead, mentor, and motivate technicians in both field and lab environments
* Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are upheld
* Oversee scheduling, workflows, and daily operations
* Foster strong client relationships built on trust and reliability
Technical & Operational
* Carry out and oversee field testing of soil, aggregate, and concrete
* Conduct compliance checks on equipment, including density moisture gauges
* Supervise laboratory testing to Australian Standards and Main Roads WA methods
* Review and validate test data for accuracy and timeliness
