We are a studio-based practice located in the Inner West Sydney. We work closely with several custom builders and developers, delivering a range of projects across a variety of scale with a focus on residential homes.
Join a growing company with a strong pipeline of work. We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson or Building Designer to work on documentation from design development to construction documentation.
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrated experience in architectural drafting using ArchiCAD for subdivision & residential projects
* ArchiCAD documentation at all stages
* Assist in preparing 3D CAD models
* Update design/drafting as per latest information and requirements
* Work closely with other staff to clarify drafting and/or documentation issues throughout the design, documentation and construction phase
* Liaise with clients, consultants and councils
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Draftsperson with a residential builder
* Office experience in delivering architectural documentation using either ArchiCAD 25 (or newer).
* Working knowledge of the NCC, BASIX and Australian Standards and regulations. (NCC, BCA, CDC, and Local Authority DCPs)
* An industry related qualification, CERT IV, Diploma or higher
* Excellent communication skills
* Capability to produce accurate documentation
* Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously
