Job Description:
This permanent part-time position is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate midwife to launch their career in midwifery. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work in a variety of settings, including birthing suites, postnatal care, and antenatal clinics.
You will be supported by our experienced midwifery team, who will guide you through your rotation and help you develop your skills. Our hospital offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong focus on education and professional development.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support throughout the maternity journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing midwifery care to patients in various settings
* Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
* Developing and maintaining relationships with patients and their families
* Participating in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered midwife with current authority to practice with AHPRA.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
