CR Powered by Epiroc is a leading manufacturer of high-quality ferrous castings for large surface mining equipment.
Our Maryborough foundry operates to world's-best standards, ensuring that CR Powered by Epiroc continues to manufacture leading GET, Cast Lips and other Foundry products. We are growing rapidly, and this is an exciting time to join.
Our busy, thriving foundry has an prospect for a Welder with experience working in heavy, manufacturing workshops. Your responsibilities will include the repair and fabrication of castings of varying configurations and ferrous alloy grades. The opportunity will require shift work.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Trade qualification in welding, with at least 3 years' experience.
· Proven commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.
· Experience in using arc air gouging, plasma cutting & oxy acetylene equipment.
· Proficient in FCAW, GMAW & MMAW.
· Knowledge of TIG welding would be valuable, however not essential.
· Experience using robotic welders would beneficial.
· Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol test.
· Forklift licence and doggers ticket would be considered advantageous.
· The ability to work varying shifts (day & afternoon) will be required.
· Excellent demonstrated record of reliability.

Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
