Overview
My Dental Team is a well-established practice in which we have been delivering quality care and creating beautiful smiles for the last 10 years. We aim to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment for our patients and their families and are committed to providing exceptional patient care with a positive work culture. We are seeking highly motivated Dental Assistants to join our team on a full time basis.
This role will be primarily based in Wollongong, with occasional travel to Shellharbour as required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for orthodontic procedures
- Take and record patient medical histories
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and answer patient questions
- Assist in stock control
- Communicate effectively with patients, orthodontists and other healthcare professionals
- Provide clear instructions and explanations to patients about procedures and oral care
Qualifications
- A high level of initiative and motivation
- Be well presented, reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Have good time management skills
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills
- A team – orientated individual and positive attitude
- Flexible availability and able to work between the hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm Mon – Fri
- Great phone manner
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their family
