Logistics and Supply Chain Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled logistics professional to lead our supply chain operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers.
* Design and implement a logistics strategy that aligns with our business goals, focusing on service level excellence, quality requirements, and sustainability objectives.
* Oversight all transportation operations, including ocean freight, port management, warehousing, road distribution, and final-mile delivery to retail and wholesale customers.
* Collaborate with the Sourcing and Operations teams to synchronize shipping schedules with harvests, packing, and customer demand.
* Select, contract, and support regional logistics partners (3PLs, shipping lines, carriers, warehouse operators) to ensure seamless logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with logistics service providers.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the logistics industry.
* Monitor and improve logistics metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, transit times, and costs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
* Proven track record of success in logistics process improvement.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
