Overview
Pets of Older Persons (POOPs WA) – Rockingham WA offers dog-walking assistance for adults who cannot walk their own dogs. You can make a difference by picking up and walking a dog for owners who are unable to do so. We cater to people over 65 or those in palliative care.
Responsibilities
* Walk dogs for clients who are unable to walk them due to age, illness, or palliative care needs.
* Ensure the dog's safety and wellbeing during walks and follow owner instructions.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Reliable and dependable with a basic understanding of dog behaviour.
* Willingness to follow owner instructions and communicate concerns as needed.
Commitment
* Regular – more than 6 months.
