About the Role:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as pothole repair, sign replacement, and vegetation management.
* Casual employment with competitive hourly rates and superannuation contributions.
* Day and night shifts available.
* Participate in major projects and ongoing works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out traffic management duties according to company procedures and industry standards.
* Load and unload traffic signs and equipment as required.
* Set up and implement Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes to meet all safety requirements.
* Use Stop/Slow signs or bats to control traffic when necessary.
* Follow directions from Team Leaders, Foremen, Inspectors, and Auditors.
* Monitor traffic behavior and control traffic flow to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
* Complete vehicle pre-start checks, daily diaries, and job site paperwork, including safety inductions.
* Promptly report any hazards or near misses.
* Communicate with the team using a two-way radio.
* Operate a Visual Message Board or Truck Mounted Attenuation when needed (valid tickets/licenses).
Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* BWTM & TC accreditation is required.
* A White Card is mandatory.
* A WA driver's license or an Australian/internationally recognized equivalent is essential.
* AWTM and/or WTM and/or OTMA Accreditation is highly regarded.
* Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail are crucial.
