Highly skilled professionals are sought to join our team in a role that requires expertise in Pre-Contract & Post Contract Quantity Surveying.
We are looking for individuals who possess strong commercial management skills, including cost estimates, variation and claims management, and the ability to monitor project budgets.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop cost plans and project capital estimates through the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
* Prepare cost reports and estimate packages, and regularly present to stakeholders.
* Provide commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.
* Delivering quality work and positioning for new opportunities
* Work proactively with minimal supervision
* Ability to manage juniors in the team
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
* A Defence clearance or Australian citizenship is also required.
* More than 5 years of experience in quantity surveying is necessary.
* AIQS or RICS membership is ideal but not essential.
* Experience in CostX is preferred.
