We are looking for a super organised
Warehouse Assistant based in Toowoomba, QLD.
This is a key support role within the workshop, responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of inventory and supporting the Procurement team in managing stock effectively. This hands-on role involves a mix of warehouse duties including parts collection, distribution, inventory control, and light assembly work.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and capable of working across multiple functions within the workshop environment.
Responsibilities
* Support the Procurement team with inventory handling and stock tracking
* Collect and distribute parts and materials to various workstations
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes
* Maintain accurate inventory records in line with internal systems
* Assist with unpacking and checking incoming goods against orders
* Support assembly teams with basic component preparation and pre-assembly tasks
* Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and storage areas
* Communicate stock shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to supervisors
* Comply with all WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards and procedures
* Perform other general workshop duties as directed
Skills and Attributes
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Ability to multitask and work across different areas of the workshop
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Physically capable of manual handling and lifting
* Basic understanding of inventory systems (training provided)
* Previous experience in a warehouse/workshop environment is advantageous
* Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
