Your Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teacher:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students withSEN
Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to individual needs
Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, andSENcoordinators
Provide a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Support social, emotional, and academic development
Maintain accurate records and contribute toIndividual Education Plans (IEPs)
What We're Looking For in a SEN Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent
Experience teachingSENor working with students with additional needs
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Empathy, patience, and a flexible approach to learning
Professional, reflective, and student-focused attitude
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
