About the role
You will be supporting the design and development of cutting-edge robotic dredging systems that operate in challenging environments, while also leading the ongoing improvement and optimisation of existing equipment.
This includes the "bread and butter" engineering: designing and detailing components, interfaces, mounts, frames, skids, guards, tooling and other support equipment around the robotics, ensuring solutions are robust, buildable, safe, and fit for purpose.

You'll operate with real autonomy within a close-knit engineering team of four, all hands-on, motivated, and focused on delivering practical results and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
Utilise SolidWorks to develop designs from concept through to manufacture, including creating detailed manufacturing drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems.
Conduct testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.
Analyse data, identify areas for improvement, and implement design enhancements.
Contribute to the development of new products and solutions that address the evolving needs of our clients.
Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What we're looking for
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD software and experience with 3D modelling and simulation.
Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
